Engineering services for a sustainable urban extension to Wellingborough comprising approximately 3500 new homes, 80 ha of employment land and associated commercial, retail, schools and other community facilities. The site is a combination of brownfield and greenfield sites and outline Planning Permission was granted for the first stage of development in June 2005.

  • Outline Planning Application, including public consultation and workshops run in conjunction with the Princes Foundation
  • A full site investigation with a geo-environmental study
  • Preparation of flood risk assessment and mitigation works
  • Development of foul and surface water drainage strategies incorporating sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS)
  • Preliminary designs of: 3 major new mainline rail crossings, 6 new river crossings, and a new multi-modal interchange at the listed railway station
