Situated in a residential area on a former Council Depot Site the facility includes new 25m swimming pool, learner pool, gym, dance studio and associated changing rooms and offices. The structure comprises glulam beams over the main swimming pool hall. The remaining steel super structure was designed using a 3D modelling
package due to the double-sloping roof.

The pool comprises a reinforced concrete tank. External fenestration is either blockwork or insulated cladding panels.
