This PFI school was designed to be constructed alongside the existing school, which was earmarked for demolition.

The 2 storey teaching spaces radiate away from a large central atria space which will be utilised as a meeting area and will contain growing trees and gardens.

Phasing of the works are a crucial element of the design so that the school can decant steadily over a number of months into the new buildings.

MLM were an integral part of the design team providing advice and ideas on fire safety and heat gain/heat loss issues in order that the project could go to site within budget.
