Flaxfields, Linton is a three storey development comprising 40 self contained flats and associated communal areas such as lounge and dining areas. Occupants live within their own self contained units but can also enjoy communal facilities including a restaurant, and have access to nursing care from on site staff as and when necessary.
The building is served by communal gas fired boilers, which are supplemented by a solar thermal water heating installation. The scheme includes a rainwater harvesting system which is integrated into the building’s mist sprinkler system.
