Salvation Army Headquarters, 99-101 Queen Victoria Street, London

MLM Building Control provided building regulation control for the International Headquarters for the Salvation Army and a landmark office building both sited at 99 – 101 Queen Victoria Street, the former site of Salvation Army’s International Headquarters.
The two buildings have been designed as independent structures to enable either to be separately redeveloped in the future.
The Salvation Army headquarters will consist of 3 floors of office accommodation, the general’s suite with associated office functions and a fully enclosed chapel allowing for prayer. The lower ground floor will comprise of a café and exhibition area including a multimedia space for use by the public. An atrium space links the cafe and entrance level, which can be viewed through glass from the 1st floor office space. Forum space has also been allocated for an operational congregation space for up to 200 people.
