MLM were appointed by Bovis Homes to carry out the detailed design of Route 4 for the Wellingborough East/Stanton Cross Development.
The Route included is 1.3 Km carriageway, 2 bridges, a roundabout and two signalised junctions.
The Route also included embankment across the flood plain of the River Ise incorporating ground improvement to the existing ground prior to placing embankment material.
Part of the Route was located along the edge of an existing railway cutting and required assessment of the slope, benching in to form an embankment for the new highway and large cantilevered retaining walls.
