As part of Design and Build Contracts with Jackson Civil Engineering, MLM have been appointed by PPG in connection with several projects to improve fire safety and reduce environmental risk within their paint production and storage facilities at Stowmarket.

These projects have included the design and construction of a new fire station, fire mains and fire water storage tanks. In addition to undertaking the engineering design MLM also provided architectural design services.

Other works have included the design and construction of hundreds of metres of bunding around parts of the site to prevent contaminated water from entering the adjacent River Gipping. This project included various drainage modifications, hardstanding areas and other infrastructure improvements.
