This project involved 5 Grade II Listed, 19th Century Town Houses which had previously been linked but were an eclectic mix of construction types and levels. MLM were involved on site in design of the new extension, strengthening and replacing existing structure, and assisting with construction sequencing to ensure stability was maintained. The difficult layout and extensive services required MLM Building Control to keep a close eye on the fire stopping details throughout. The result is a luxurious 41 bed Boutique hotel, with much of the original structure exposed and an unusual labyrinth of vaulted cellar rooms.
