The building has seven storeys of residential accommodation and two basement levels to provide secure car and bicycle parking for its residents. Alongside the luxury properties, share ownership housing providing wheelchair accessible apartments will be provided to the lifetime homes standard.
MLM assisted Chelsea Apartments in aiming for the highest achievable standards in energy efficiency by including features such as ground source heat pumps and heat recovery comfort cooling. MLM also liaised closely with the Local Fire Authority to ensure the relevant requirements of the Building Regulations and British Standards are met, whilst maintaining the integrity of the design.
