The new facility is the biggest addition to Ipswich Hospital for 30 years, transforming healthcare for the people of Suffolk and becoming the main focus of the hospital. Health Minister Jane Kennedy said “The new centre is great news for people living in Ipswich. It will offer critical care and day care surgery, with more beds, bays and treatment rooms, as well as a special recovery area for children.”
MLM was part of the client’s team providing advice on structural engineering issues to assist with the project appraisal and delivery.
