Working for a major Banking group, MLM provided Civil and Structural design services associated with cooling and standby power generation upgrades on a number of secure data centre buildings at two different sites. The project involved increasing the cooling capacity and standby power generation to deal with planned increases in data handling and storage capacity.

The structural works involved load capacity assessment of existing data halls for additional CRAC units as well as design of additional plant building, steelwork plant gantries, generator and other bases. Site locations and client name withheld for security reasons.
