Initially designed as a traditional care home, the scheme evolved into a 40 bed development, with specialist dementia care facilities, as well as providing traditional residential care.

All rooms are en-suite, with communal dining and lounge facilities, assisted bathrooms and access to a well appointed external courtyard.

• Automatic Day/Night lighting control to circulation spaces.
• Low level ‘reassurance’ lighting to residential rooms.
• Heat recovery ventilation systems providing filtered warmed outside air to corridors.
• Nurse call / warden call alarm systems, including night-time bedroom alarms.
• Sympathetic selection of light fittings to maintain ‘traditional’ feel to the building.
