This project has provided a landmark building for Nene Waterfront Regeneration, incorporating the Harbour Masters Office within the main boathouse building. Seminar/meeting rooms along with Cafe and changing facilities for river users have also been provided. The rear of the building encompasses a number of small flexible commercial office units.
Key Features:
- Mixed pump mode ventilation system combining passive natural ventilation with air source heat pumps, to maximise the efficiency of the heating and cooling system.
- ‘Quiet Revolutions’ helical wind turbine to generate up to 5kW of electricity
- Brise Soléil to reduce solar gain to the office units
