Anglian Water Group are disposing of land to their core business, which lies adjacent to the existing treatment works at Corby. The site will either be developed by AWG or sold with a proposed end use for waste management or related industry. The site has a previous industrial usage but has effectively returned to nature, becoming heavily overgrown with major ecological potential.
MLM were employed to undertake a range of services to assist in identifying constraints and opportunities to development of the site. This included a feasibility study of transport, flood, engineering, ecology and contaminated land issues and this has led to further more detailed works specifically in relation to Ecology and Contaminated land. Reports produced will be used to assist in marketing of the site and in future planning applications.
