Neil has provided Building Control, construction management and building surveying services on a wide range of buildings and refurbishment works. His experience includes low and high rise residential, office, retail, leisure and industrial buildings, with a broad range of construction types. He has also set up and managed risk management services for the provision of insurance cover for converted buildings.
He has particular expertise in the formulation and implementation of Building Regulation policy and associated technical standards and has provided expert witness evidence to Government committees at home and around the World. He has been involved extensively in European Building Control matters and presented seminars on a wide range of technical and legislative issues. Neil was a founding Director of Robust Details Ltd, is a member of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee and the Construction Industry Council Approved Inspectors management board.
